I see so many different variations of "Steal Your Face" on t-shirts and bumper stickers...is this infringement or is it public domain, or is a variation allowed...tried to look up copyright, but could not find graphic thread...how would one contact the Grateful Dead to use?

The Steal Your Face logo is the property of Gateful Dead Merchendising. You can only use it if you are licensed with them. A lot of people do bootleg Dead merch. The Dead doesnt mind too much as long as you keep the numbers down.
