Default FastInk with Epson r1800 Printer problem

Hello there, i have the epson r1800 printer with fast ink and im using the Fastrip software. The only problem is when i print on transparent film, the finished product has bands across the whole film. I normally set the lpi 60-65, i even tried using a new fastink cartridge but has the same results.

sounds like you need to clean the heads.

Also, why such a small halftone? Even on my Auto I rarely go over 55lpi.

generally I stay around 45 or 55 lpi. If its more of a cartoon (ex. school mascot) type design I do 45, 55 for more photo realistic. 65 is great yet tougher to hold.

as far as cleaning you might want to contact usscreen tech support. I rarely use mine so Im not sure exactly how to do it. I believe you should have installed 2 epson printers, one is for the cleaning and one for FastRIP.
