Has anyone provided a Design (sketch/draft) to a manufacturer and let them come up with the final design? I'm just curious how did the final design came out. I'm trying to have the company that is printing my tshirts do the design for me as well. I will provide them with the rough sketch and let them work their magic. Has anyone ever tried this?

To a "manufacturer", no. To a company that provided and screen printed t-shirts for me, yes.

I do this all the time for a lot of my clients. I get the wonderful sketch on a napkin quite often.

I'm grateful to get a sketch from a client. Most times they just try to describe what they are looking for.

I do just the artwork. I have screen printers I use if someone local needs some work done.
