I bought the IMSI Clip Art & More 250,000 mainly to get the
free 1 year subscription to the website however I am running
Windows Vista and I can't seem to get any of the CD graphics
to work.
Does anyone have a patch or know where I can get one to
get the software to run with Vista? I have searched their
website and I can't seem to find any.
I know that Vista has had some compatibility problems but have not heard that there is any problem with jpg grapics or any bit mapped graphics. I would think that the issue is with the software you are using that is not recognizing the graphic..what program are you using...maybe check with them to see about a patch to THEIR software...just a thought

I am using ISNI HiJaak Image Manager which is also on the cd. When
I tried to install in on my old computer which runs XP and it worked fine,
so I believe it is because my laptop has Vista. I believe the cd must be
in the drive to pull up the images. I know that I will probably be getting
most of my images from the website, but I am afraid I'll need their image
software to work with them too.
The software is horrible even when it works. And the number of images on the CD is tiny. It's not even worth the bother for me.
I simply use the Clipart.com website. The only problem I have with it is that there are so many images it is often difficult to wade through the search results. That's a pretty good problem to have. The website requires no special software and most images are available in a variety of formats.
Just consider the disc the packaging for the Clipart.com code, and it is one of the best deals around ($10-$30 for a 1 year subscription that is normally $160).
agree with AustinJeff...just use the website....BUT if you want to use the CD you do not have to use their software...you can open or import any of the images into any decent photo or graphic program. I am sure the problem is the IMSI software is not compatible with Vista...
Here is a quote from clipart.com website on permitted uses...it says you may
"Use the Image(s) on product packaging or in any items for personal use or resale, including book covers, calendars, consumer merchandise (T-shirts, posters, art, etc.), except in computer software and electronic video and computer games, which require a separate license (see Section F(IX) below), provided such use is not intended to allow the re-distribution, re-use of the Image(s) or access to the Image(s) apart from a product or service apart from a product or service."
This seems to me that you can use their images on t-shirts...for resale which would be commercial use.
