Get help with creating your t-shirt graphics. Discuss t-shirt design software, special effect techniques, or other topics related to creating a t-shirt design on your computer.
It would be nice if I could email a sample design to customers. The only other option is to generate the sticker, and deliver it or scan it.
In most cases, I import a bmp, use the outline tool, and add text. I'm learning a few tricks, and it seems to be going well, considering I received the machine Wednesday night.

I would suggest that if you want to show the customer a proof, you edit the BMP before importing into CutStudio using a program like CorelDraw, Photoshop, PaintShopPro, etc and then use that graphics program (cutstudio isn't really a graphics program) to create a JPG or PDF graphic that you can email to your customer.
I guess I could send the source WMF or BMPs, and see if they like the images I'll be using. I prefer to use the Cut Studio text - it's much easier. The fonts don't match across applications either.
In CutStudio, convert your design to Polyline. This will preserve the fonts, etc. Then copy and paste it into CorelDraw or whatever and print to pdf from there.
On the one hand, it's an extra step. But on the other hand, if you are putting the design into CorelDraw, you can then use then use the Comp Generator to create a nice mock up for the customer.
