Hello
I have 5 lines of text in corel.
How do I mirror the text to print out on a OKI 5500 laser to press on to a shirt?
The oki driver has no mirror option like the epson driver does.
I see the mirror tool bar for vertical and horizontial but vertical does nothing and horizontal just flips it.
Select the text to be mirrored. Click Arrange -> Transformations -> Scale then in the Docker window the Transformation tool will appear. Click on the horizontal button (The button to the right of H: input) under the Mirror heading as shown in attached image. Finally click apply.
Hello All
THanks. I must be doing something wrong. When I do this all I can get done is the text flips upside down but not reversed for transfer printing.
It worked here, I just activated the "transform" toolbar, and click on the mirror button, either mirror up or mirror down. Maybe you should be in artistic text mode? Not sure though!
ctrl+F8 toggles back & forth to Artistic text mode and paragraph text mode. Its also in the Text toolbar.
I've tried it and it worked but it was weird. Once the paragraph has been flipped before conversion to artistic text mode, it takes a few times of clicking both vertical and horizontal mirror buttons to finally mirror the text horizontally.
Thanks for the tip. I did not know paragraph reacts that way when mirrored.
Paragraph and artistic text are different in many ways. If your only using small amounts of text like headlines, etc. I would stick with artistic text. If using tons of text like lists of names, actual paragraphs, etc. you would use paragraph text.
