Default Illustrator Italizing like in Corel

Corel has a cool feature which allows you to slant (italicize) text to whatever level you want to. Is there anyway to adjust the text (slant) within Illustrator???? This would really help.

Best Regards,

Jon

You can make use of the Character Rotation function in the Character palette, although it will affect the width of the text so you have to adjust the tracking too.
If the text is already converted to outlines the Shear Tool is the thing that can help you out

L00T,

Thanks,

The Character rotations rotates each character seperately, but the covert to outlines and then shear does what I am wanting to do.

Thanks Again,

Jon

No problem Jon, glad it helped you out.

Maybe you could show us a pic with the end result, as I'm always curious about what others make
