Photoshop elements v. Corel User

Default Photoshop elements v. Corel User

I would like to know who is using photoshop over corel and how do you like it, i am thinking about using this software for designing my teeshirts instead of corel

The main difference is that Photoshop Elements can't do vector graphics.

If you can design your shirt in high resolution and can get with a good printer that doesn't require vector graphics, then you should be OK.

Remeber you can work a design in one system export to the other. And as had been mention, vector in corel then export to photoshop or vs to corel. Letters best in corel, photo work best in photoshop.

I imagine that Corel photopaint would be much better than photoshop elements.

To me the most important differences is that photoshop elements (and photoshop) is primarily a photo enhancement program whereas Corel is a graphics design program...two totally different functions BUT as Fluid states Corel suite comes with Corel Photopaint and is comparable to photoshop elements but falls short of Photoshop CS2 capabilities.. I have all of the programs and use each for different functions.
