singleing out an image on Adobe for a plastisol transfer

Red face singleing out an image on Adobe for a plastisol transfer

Hi guys

Iv got a qustion about making the graphics that are going to be on plasisol transfers. When your done with your image on the comp and you only want the image and none of the background, can you somehow erase the background? Im using Adobe to edit my art work which looks cool. But i want to make sure that only my drawing with the effects show up and none of the stuff in the back ground...i hope this makes some sence to u guys. If anyone can help me out with this id be very greatfullll lol.

I assume that you use Adobe Photoshop (?)

In that case open Window > Layers
If you the name of the lowest layer (Background) is printed italic, double click this layer. Now the name is not italic anymore.
Now you can delete the background. When the background is transparent, you will see little white and gray squares.
