Default license agreements for photos/clipart

Hello there! I'm really new to all this and here's my question: for the end use of selling t-shirts, do all photos/clipart involve some sort of extended license agreement? Are there any sources that provide photos/clipart with no license agreements...other than me creating the images myself. Many thanks!

I thing for every image or photos you did not make yourself you have to pay for the exclusive rights , if you want to use it.As an advice i recomend you to use the stock royalties sites where you can find very cheap designs.I mean with 1$ you can buy graphics in vector format an then you can rearenged for yourself or buy exclusive rights with almost 20$.Take a look at this guy portfolio , from here you can buy vector designs made especialy for screenprinting.

Think this need a little clarification. The royalty free site mentioned Shutterstock. Has the following license for T-shirts Enhanced License, 10 downloads for one month, $599. Twenty-five downloads for one month, $999.
This does not grant you a "Exclusive License", just a use it within one year license for commercial products as defined in the agreement. Note this does not allow for a print on demand type product, they reference a "CafePress" type operation.
For $999 you can purchase a nice set of clip discs that you will be able to do a awful lot with. Also take a look at openclipart.org, gomedia.com, great dane graphics, extreme clip art. and do a search of this forum for clip art. Lots of info to get you started.

Good Luck, Bill
