Angry Running InkScape on MacOS ?
Tried using on my Mac, OS 10.4.9 no go, said I need X11. Went to Apple site downloaded X11. Went to install, and installer said I already had it.
Tried to open InkScape again, same message, need X11.
Completely stumped at the moment.

Any Ideas?

Not sure, mine works fine. I installed mine from a Tiger disc. Are there different X11 installs on the site? One for Intel based Macs and one for PowerMacs?

Jerid, did you select custom install and then find X11 and go from there?

I have added so many updates since that disc came out, I don't want to screw anything else up.

It's been a few weeks since I added it to my wife's laptop, but I do believe that's how I did it. I have 10.4.9 on her laptop and I wanted to run Inkscape on it, so I took the Tiger install disc so I'm sure you would be fine if you installed it directly from the disc. I'm running X11 1.1.3 and Inkscape 0.45.1

O.K. went to the Tiger DVD and found the X11 installer.
Ran installer and Inkscape now runs.
Checked for X11 updates, one major 53 meg update available, installed.

InkScape is now up and running. Now the fun of learning more new S/W.
