personally, i prefer my brain. but a lot of people prefer to just tweak designs they see on other sites. my recommendation is to go to an art galley and see what inspires you. don't be afraid to go out of the box.. way way far out of the box. the market is saturated, so you need a niche to survive. creativity can't be learned though, so if you don't have it, hire somebody who does.

Maybe go to events, big cities, magazines....... It helps to spark some new designs sometimes.
