screenprinters.net has some overlays you can use if you want something free. Best is probably Mister Retro's Machine Wash filters.

I agree. Tom has some good stuff there at advancedartist.com. I have his distress generator and it's pretty effective. You can also get some free bitmap files at the us screen website. Scott Fresner has some that he posted out there a LONG time ago and I've been using for a few years now. I think they're still free out there.

wow i've actually been looking to find an easier way to do this !!

- what i did in the past was jus use photoshop and draw white lines and dots with the pencil, then gausian blur, and turn up contrast...it took a lot of work... hehe

As far as I remember, Mr Retro's software doesn't work with Corel Draw. Make sure to check that out before buying.

I bought the Mr. Retro Machine Wash set and it did NOT work with Corel. I discussed the issue with Foster Coburn from Unleash.com (corel graphics website) to see if he knew any different. He contacted the vendor who, at the time, they said they had no intention of making it work with Corel. That was about a year ago. I'm not sure if continued interest by Corel users has encouraged them to change their mind or not. Do not purchase the filters unless you double check or you're just wasting your money.
