I had someone send me an eps file. My problem is that the colors in the file are all pantones and cmyk colors. They need to be RGB. Is there an easy way to convert the colors or is it the tedious task of clicking and checking all the colors.
Are you using CorelDRAW or another Corel product name?
I'm not sure if this will help to know:
Quote:
When importing EPS files into CorelDRAW®, file editing is not possible.
If you import your EPS file using the Encapsulated PostScript filter, a Bitmap representation of the information in the EPS file is placed on the page. You will note that the Status bar reports the object as a bitmap with an EPS file attached. If you use the PostScript Interpreted (PS, PRN, EPS) filter to import the image into CorelDRAW, the file can be separated and edited.
1. In CorelDRAW, with a new page open, click File, Import
2. Click the drop down for Files of type and select PS, PRN, EPS -
PostScript Interpreted
3. Select the file to import, click Import
4. Press the Space Bar; the file is editable.
I would ask your customer if they can send the file in the format that will work best for you.
Yea....what Ms. Blue said.....unless you don't need a EPS file. If so just hightlight everything and good up top of the program to "Bitmaps" and convert the whole image into a RGB bitmap.
