In this case:
Create your text and size it accordingly
Click Effects
Click Envelope
Choices to this one:
Single Arc
Vertical
Keep lines
Click "Add New"
Drag the lower edges to desired vertical destinations
Clic the pick tool (arrow select) to apply the changes
