Default what program for drawing graphics/designs

What program(s) are best used for making your own graphics/clipart/designs ?

I have several programs but not sure what would be best. ?
Most of them I acquired when I got into video editing and after I started using
Sony Vegas I didn't get into them.

I have (but not really got into any of these)
Macromedia Freehand
Photoshop CS
After Effects
Canvas
Photoshop Elements

Looking at Corel draw x3.

Thanks
Mark

Photoshop and Illy will work just fine. if you dont really like them I would suggest CorelDRAW.

Guessing your a Marine? Just whipped out some shirts for 26th MEU last week.
pretty much my whole family are Marines other than myself. Bad back.
Cousin just got back from his 4th tour. 2nd MAR DIV, 4th Platoon

I own both Corel X3 and Photoshop CS. I find them both usefull for different ways of creating and editing art. I don't think I could just use one or the other. Corel's X3 has a fantastic tracing feature for creating Vector art from a bitmap. You might want to take that into consideration.

I have Photoshop, Illustrator, and PaintShopPro. I use PSP and Illustrator a lot though. For some reason, I just can't get use to Photoshop.

Of the list you have, Photoshop and freehand will both work fine for drawing t-shirt designs.

Spent most of my time at Camp Hell aka Lejuene and a yr split between
Okinawa and Korea (team spirit 86).
Trained as a Combat Engineer (super grunt) but when I got out of school they
sent me off to be a Tatical Firefighter.
At times wish I was still in. Mostly when sick and broke :-)
