Default Drawing Using Adobe CS2

Can anyone tell me how to draw a heart, a baseball and a bat using CS2? I cannot draw a straight line using a ruler so I desperately need your help on how to draw the above simple designs. Thanks!!

If you can't draw, there's really nothing we can tell you that will change that. You should probably think about using clipart instead.

Photoshop has a heart in the shape menu, so that's easy enough at least. I have to agree with Jasonda though.

Thanks for your help, guys...but I have another question. Is there a wayI can use the pencil tool to make the "crude" design and then use something else to straighten out the lines?

Illustrator will soften out shakey lines a bit, so it certainly helps.

You could use the pencil to draw out the rough shape you want and then go over it with the pen tool on a new layer (it basically does straight lines point to point).

Were you talking about illustrator or photoshop CS2? Or both?

Find yourself some pics with the desired shapes on it. Place a pic in Illustrator, take the pen tool, and start drawing the outlines of the shapes you want

If you can't draw a straight line, then maybe clip art might be the way to go!

I'd recommend looking into some local classes. I got a lot out of doing life drawing (and general drawing, but life drawing in particular is a good way to improve your skills).
