Ok, I'm happy.

Just thought of one more thing. Is it "anything goes" as far as the printing method? Like foil, puff, glitter, metallics, etc.

Sure, why not

If your design happens to have puff/glitter etc and is voted as the winner, then we'll make it happen so we can get as close to the original design as possible.

I think part of the contest will be seeing what the majority votes as as the "most popular" design.

Will it be a one color understated design or a full four color art piece, or a glitter design or a foil design, or something more traditional?

Hmmm.... I think that's going to be extremely hard to predict. Last year I thought we'd have seven or eight, but four didn't surprise me.

This year... I'm going to guess seventeen. I won't be even a little bit surprised if it's more or less though. Given the awesome prize, you never know what's going to happen

Rodney, I know you said that the design doesn't have to include it, but any chance we could get a hi-res version of the t-shirt forums logo to include if we do want to?

Actually a vector would be better or at least the font style (name) as the logo is a fairly easy one to recreate

Color limitation is not that big of a deal as this is the main aspect of my part of the industry. Clients trying to save money by keeping the color to a min. Now using specialty inks can seriously increasee the cost of printing more than the adittion of more colors.

Sure thing, you can grab the vector logo from this message from last year's contest:
Design the Official T-ShirtForums T-Shirt Contest

The forum logo will be in the inside neckline tag of the t-shirts, but if your winning design also includes the forum logo (not necessary as you said), that's cool with me

Wow... you think only seventeen entries out of more then 8000 members... that's not much!

Anyway, cool contest Rodney with nice prices... you actually made me start to think about making some design too

Yeah, I am beginning to think I underestimated. I was basing it on the number of entries last time more than anything (roughly four times as many members now, so roughly four times as many entries predicted), but the prize will likely make a difference.

Just to clarify a couple of questions:

1) All entries will be held until the contest deadline and then posted for voting at the same time.

2) All entries will be anonymous until AFTER the voting is completed and will be voted on anonymously
