Default Transfer paper

Hello there,
I was reading on the site yesterday about the different transfer papers that are out there, opaque seems to be good for colored shirts. Is this true and does it make the heat transfer more durable? Does the type of shirt determine whether a hot peel or a cold peel should be used? Thanks again for the help.

Opaque transfers create a heavy feeling on the shirt, and each transfer will need to be trimmed to remove the white box around the design.

Unless you need to just one or two of each design, you should think about getting plastisol transfers made. They will be more durable and softer on the shirt, and they work well for dark fabrics.

See these threads for more info.

Thank you Jasonda for the help, I have a question on the plastisol transfers, what are they and how would they work with an Epson 1800? Thanks again

Plastisol transfers can't be printed on an inkjet printer like an Epson. They have to be custom made by a screenprinter.
