It's really not always the best idea to get inspiration from other t-shirt designs. You'll just end up with stuff that looks the same as everything else. Better to keep trying to make your own designs and come up with something original.
thnx Jasonda. but my brain will explode soon, i have to come up with 10 different t-shirts with different designes by March, so i have about 20 ~ 25 days, i don't know wt to do. i came up with 3 designes on my own from my mind, but i still need more. anyway thnx
here's what I would recommend - get a notebook. In the center of each page, write a phrase or an idea or a concept. Below it, write notes on what you want in the design, what colors you want, etc. Above, put sketches of the idea as they come to you. Then, just keep churning out ideas, no matter how bad, until you get some that work.
You will come up with lots of terrible ideas - I have a notebook at home like this that has tons of awful ideas in it, but some of these awful ideas, with work, have turned into some of my best-selling shirts. Also, it's nice to have all of these ideas together, because sometimes you can put two ideas together to make a great design, or you can come back to a design and you'll say "well, what if I did this instead..." and it will turn into a great idea.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

really really thnx soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much to SEIBEI
ur new way is very very nice.
I don't know how to thank you, i'm starting now with my new notebook. and hope it works good with me.
thnx again.
I do things like watch old-ish movies that I know inspire me.
ie) - Fast times at Ridgemont High
- Breakfast Club
- Taxi Driver
- VArious Jim Jarmusch films
- different types of music, TV, magazines, the News, on and on...
etc,
Pretty light movies(except for Taxi Driver lol) that clear your head and let you escape a bit. The worst ideas come when you're forced. Kinda like being forced to do a spontaneous cartwheel.
Also, I know what times of the day I'm most creative (late night). So it's good to tap into those times.
Seibei's sketch book method is basically my method too. Always jot down ideas when you get them. Don't rely on memory, you'll forget the idea. (at least I do).
My advise to you is this.
• First of all think of things you like. It is easier to create things that you like and relate to. For example, I like classic cars so I could use that to sell t shirts, as it is something I know about.
• Second, point a target audience. This will help you develop your designs. It is easier to try to sell to a specific audience. You will know how to direct your ideas.
• Third, be original, your way, design something that t-shirts havent seen before. Be creative, you must be as you are a designer.
