Default Where can I find actual designs to use on the shirts? Free OR Pay?

Hi guys,

I'm a bit new here, so pardon me in advance if the question sounds dumb....

Where would I go to get either free, or to purchase the actual designs used on the t-shirts?? I do plan on creating alot of my own from scratch with Photoshop and/or Illustrator. But where would I go to buy or find some that I can have already done, and ready to put on transfer paper? I've looked all over the net and haven't found anything decent yet. I don't mind if they are some of the "canned" generic line ones you see all over, just something to get me started. If anyone knows any websites that sell these, or any free downloads, let me know, I don't really know where to look. Thanks!!

I'm new too, but I thik that you can go to websites like tshirthell and set up wholesale accounts to buy and resale their already printed shirts.

Some sites sell designs already on transfer paper, like proworldinc.com.

Some sites may sell designs that you can use for printing, like clipart.com or istockphoto.com.

You can also hire a graphic designer from places like designoutpost.com, guru.com, elance.com, etc.

If you have very specific needs, you probably won't find anything free that allows you to put it on t-shirts and sell it.

Unfortunately, I don't think tshirthell sells their t-shirts wholesale. I don't they sell the rights to their original designs either.

I think you're right. I went back and couldn't find anything. Could have sworn I saw something for wholesale. Must have been somewhere else. They do have a cool affiliate program though. If you're good at sales you could have business cards printed with your name and every time you get someone to buy a shirt off the website, they give you $4! Not bad for not doing any physical labor.

You are looking for "stock" t-shirt transfers. Many companies sell their own designs direct, such as Dowling Graphics. Dowling also supplies companies such as Proworld, Airwaves so you pay more but don't have to buy 12.

You can also purchase vector and clipart collections so you can design your own. Look over the legal rights to use. The name brand vendors will allow you to use.

Also, many of the custom transfer companies will have stock transfers that you can purchase.
