Default All my graphics look like cookie cutouts in CS2??!!!

No matter what I do, my graphics come out pixelated. Whether it is text or a simple graphic. I've even imported vector based objects sized correctly, and tey are still rigid. am I doing something wrong? My specs are 13" x 18" 300dpi. Can anyone help me out here?

I'm stressing pretty good here
Thanks in advance
Nick

are you exporting or saving as a raster image?
If so see if Anti-alasing is checked

It is checked. Should I not be dragging and dropping from illustrator into Photoshop?

Illy should have a psd export/save as filter?

I use corel but you should have the same options.

Try saving as a psd rather than dragging. Im not real sure if this will help though.
Can you post a visual and specify zoom ratio?

IM sure someone with illy exp will chime in.

I got it to work. I think I was using too low of a resolution on my PS files. I upped it from 300dpi to 600dpi. Also, I traced in illustrator, saved as an .ai file and then opened it in PS. For now, I am golden. Thank you guys for your help.

600 dpi? thats pretty intense, your never gonna print anything that high res. Now are you doing your art in photoshop then importing it into Illustrator or vice versa? You shouldn't need to do your artwork especially for shirts more than 400 which is still pretty high for shirts.

you can go as low as 200dpi at final size and still get xlnt results. Some Index jobs require around 180 dpi. (just index)
