Default Ideas for Business Cards

I am going to create a new batch of business cards. I will be printing fold-over cards. I want to come up with something creative for the inside of the cards. I have seen calendars, and note taking on some business cards. Does anyone have other ideas maybe something that would make my card stay in someones wallet. I hand these out everywhere especially pubs. Any ideas are appreciated.

A friend of mine is a printer and he puts a tip calculator chart
on the back of his card. It comes in handy and they always
see his business name when they are out eating.

People do use it.

I'm going to keep your card if it gives me the info I need. Less is more... company name/logo, address, phone, e-mail and web.

Keep the back of the card blank so you can write on it....10% off with this card or, free screen with this card

You get the idea - make it a personal gift from you to the client.

Also, don't put your cell number on the card. Print a land line number. Then, in front of the client, write your cell number on the back and tell him/her that if they need anything, call you personally on your cell. It will make them feel special!

if you're passing these out at pubs, consider giving the pubs coasters instead of business cards with your info on the item. there is a lawyer in the austin tx area that had given these out at local bars. he defended persons stopped for dui. that is certainly going after his market

I print new cards about every month. I know not to over do it. Been doing this for 15 years. I only put a cell phone since I am never at my home office. I normally print full color both sides, but this time I will make something different. Tip calculator is a good Idea. After that I will print a waterproof card and will look into an aluminum card die cut with a bottle opener.

Some sort of useful information. I liked the tip calculator idea. Anything from measurement conversions to useful spanish phrases to world time conversions! You never know what might come in handy to people... Maybe even turn the inside into a mini wallet sized transaction register. I think I would actually really like one of those...I have been looking for a wallet sized one...

Those are some great ideas! I never even thought about putting useful info on the back of the cards and I think that's a great way to stay in someone's pocket.

I have a pretty good network of indie crafters and we like to exchange business cards and put them in each other's orders. I also go to clothing stores and slip business cards into random pockets.

Here is another tip that I thought about. Get some pens printed with your information on it. If you have a waitress as a friend or relative. give her most of them. have her give them out with the bill. when she collects the bill have her just leave the pen. most people will just keep the pen.
