While we have had our struggles at AdvancedArtist.com I have always tried to keep in mind what started the web site.
It was very simple really. I was working with small shops as a freelance artist for years. I would see small shop owners struggle with art for hours because they did not know they could actually produce that art in minutes if they had know how to use to Corel. So I stated posting free tutorials in spare time because I wanted to help these small shop owners.
It was 2005 and I posted my first free tutorials.. Here we are almost 5 years later and we have reached 100s of thousands of people from all over the world.
For many people around the world its all about the money.. for some of us its all about the people and I believe this creative commons will empower that and in time the changes we will see will be as amazing as what we have seen on the internet in the last 15 years.
We are working on new projects now around these new licensing terms.. stand by we are just getting started and the way we all work and share will never be the same. |
