Hi Guys,

It relates to Windows XP Home Edition and Coreldraw Graphics SuiteX3 .
* I have got an optical mouse which has its scroll wheel. When I scroll the wheel, whatever on the drawing page zooming itself. What are the settings to be changed to stop zooming though I use the scroll wheel?

*Though I select the text, the Tabs,Columns,Bullets,Drop case options in the Text menu still in a dimmed state and I am unable to use them. How to make them all visible?

#1: Go to Tools -->Options. Under Workspace, check under Display option. "Default action for mouse wheel" should do it.

#2: The options are grayed out when the text is artistic text. It has to be paragraph text (a bounding box) to be able to do that. I have a shortcut set up to quickly switch between the two. Only thing I don't like is I do most text "artistically". So to do bullets, etc. I have to manually draw circles. Wish it would work. Notice the pic. Top is artistic, bottom is paragraph.

As far as the mouse wheel go to your control panel and open the mouse option you should be able to set what your mouse wheel does.

Huh, that option must not be in X3 . I use X4 (after upgrading from 9 which of course didn't have it!!!), and the pic below is where my option is. If it isn't there, it evidently doesn't have it. Also, control panel changes the "universal" computer mouse settings. Corel overrides those.

On the text size thing, try this (again this is X4, I assume the option's there ): Text --> Character Formatting opens up the docker. With NOTHING SELECTED (important), drag or type the text size in the docker. The popup should come up to apply this as default to artistic, paragraph text, or none.
