Default What graphic program works best with columns?

I am looking for a graphics program to create transfers with that will allow me to easily use columns. Ideally, I would like to type in Excel and export to the graphics program if it doesn't corrupt the settings. Any advice?

What do you need to do in the graphics program? If all you're doing is creating text transfers, you could simply use Excel/Word.

We type lists of names and send them out to our printers to be made into transfers. All of our printing companies have told us that they use Corel or Illustrator or some similar graphics program and that they can't take the file in Excel or Word, as the columns become corrupt.

Gotcha. Here is a tutorial on doing it with corel. CorelDraw 101: Total Text Control 2 pg 4: Production Graphics with Wendy Peck at webreference.com. It's just a matter of copying and pasting.

You can do the same with Illustrator. Google for tutorials.
