Default How to cut two color vinyl letters

I'm trying to learn how to create a file in CorelDraw to cut vinyl to create a gold letter with a white outline. Know that I need to cut two colors of vinyl but how do you create the file?

Hi Dave
Quite straight forward .
Select your font - write your word , letter etc..
Go to effects - contour and the docker window should open up. Select outside and select how many mill you want in the offset box.click apply then right click on a colour in the colour chart on the right , black for example.your contour line should appear.Size your letter to however big you want it.then on the left row of options pick fill and choose none.
then on outline and choose hairline.
On your top toolbar once you highlight your word flip it to a mirror image.then with contour highlighted click on arrange and break curve apart. unselect the word then click on the contour and you will find you can separate both layers.cut each individually and you are done.
