Default "Vectorized" fonts in Illustrator

Hi, I hope someone can help! I'm new to the biz and have experience in Photoshop and InDesign, but have been asked to prep my design for plastisol transfers in Illustrator.
The company here in France has provided me with their Illustrator template and is telling me that the fonts have to be "vectorisées" (vectorized?) and that "contours" (strokes/paths?) need to be vectorized too. Now, from what i understand, the very fact that I am working in Illustrator means that I am working with vectors, unless I import bitmap graphics, which i haven't... Am I right in this or is there a setting i need to tweak before I submit the design?
Thanks for any advice. My French is good for day to day, but can't cope with technical stuff!

Maybe "outline" the text?

I believe what they are asking you to do by 'vectorizing' the font is to "create outlines" on the text so it is no longer a font (select the text, right click for create outlines). This makes it so the person opening the file doesn't need to have the fonts used in the graphic installed on there system.

Some time printers will also ask that all strokes also be 'expanded'. This is to avoid any issues with stroke thickness between programs or if resizing.

What about the strokes, if you have any. There should be an option under the Object menu. Object /paths/ outline strokes. That will make the strokes turn into simply vector art.
