Default pictures for my website

I have adobe premiere elements and I was wondering will this software be able to resize my images to a lower megapixal so they will load faster on my website? Or do I need to use some other software....
Thanks
shanne

Premiere is not suited for scaling images. You can download ImageMagick for free and will do it for you. If you have CorelPhotoPAINT, Adobe Photoshop or even CorelDRAW, you can do it in there. You can also use Paint. You have paint (if you use windows). Paint doesn't do a very good job, but if it's all you have, it can do the job.

Besides the programs mentioned, if you have MS Office, there is a program call microsoft office picture manager ... quick and easy to use.

Photoshop anything will do. If you have an old version or a new version it'll work. Scaling images is a very basic thing all graphics programs should be able to do. Windows Photo Gallery can't do it, though, which is wierd because it's so easy to make. I guess microsoft figured it was too complicated for "regular" users. Go figure.
In any case, photoshop elements can do the job.
