Default Software help

Hi everybody, I want to know if there's any plug in for illustrator or corel draw that will automatically generate a dot pattern.
Is there any other software compatible with any designer that will do that??

If you are after halftones then the best way of doing it is to print to a postscript printer, open the file in a RIP such as Wasatch or Ghostscript and simply print.
You can produce halftone effects in most programmes by various filters, these are generally not of the same quality as a RIP generated halftone.

Yes there is. its called scriptographer. its a free illustrator plugin that creates halftones in whatever size shape you want.

If you are looking to print halftones for color separation, then your best bet is to go with the RIP or print to a post script printer. but if you're looking for a halftone effect that you have a bunch of control over and has a unique look, go with scriptographer.

You can download it for free here...
Scriptographer.org - Download

There is an easy tutorial to follow under the 2nd explanation.

Its worth it! good luck.
