[Photoshop] - Just bought photoshop, need help/advice!!
We just purchased photoshop elem.8 it's a pretty user friendly program. I cannot figure out how to design basic graphics and stuff from scratch, can anyone drop me a line of advice!? We've only been able to take others basic deisgns and tweek them to suit us.. i'd appreciate the help all.
I thought Photshop elements like photoshop CS was for twiking photos at least that is whjat I use them for. Design work from scratch I use Corel Draw X4.
and like helix said above... CorelX4 is cheaper than photoshop and great for tshirts...
They have a student version which is really inexpensive if you qualify...
I don't know the differences between Photoshop Extended and Photoshop Elements. I use Photoshop Extended, the top version that comes in the Adobe suites. Photoshop is the most powerful graphics software in existence today in my opinion. The picture below was done 100% in Photoshop CS2 by my friend John. Man I wish I could paint as good as he can.
Adobe.com has some great tutorials and videos. They are very helpful. The best advise I can give you is USE USE USE it and play with all the buttons till you get the hang of things. Good luck.
