Default What about this pricing structure?

Do you think this Is a good way to price your items? Kinda staggered like this Funny Custom T-Shirts | Tees | Hoodies | DonkeyTs.com
or do you think its better to have one set price for every t-shirt?

Interesting idea. Looks like they are priced to sell, can you make a good profit?

Most of the t-shirts look like 1 color designs so they probably still profit pretty well. I just wonder If customers would like that type of staggered pricing. Maybe meet a middle line on pricing and just leave it at that, similar to this: http://www.fivefingertees.com/
Just wonder which pricing style the customer would like better?

I would wonder what the difference was between a $10 shirt and an $18 one. And I would probably ask before I bought.

What is the rationale? What makes your $18 shirt $8 better than your $10 shirt?

I love the layout of your website. It's downright awesome. Although.. as a consumer, I'm probably not going to understand why some designs are more expensive than others.

Excellent work, though!

Actually not my website, I would be really scared of any lawsuits creating t-shirts like that (In case they are not licensed). It was just a site I stumbled across and though hmm, that pricing style Is really different. I agree with Splathead, I would wonder why a shirt would be $18. and others only $10.

I think the tiered pricing is weird.

Do the same people own all these sites selling the TV show knockoff stuff, or is someone selling transfers, or pre printed shirts? I don't know how many sites I've seen selling the "don't hassle the hoff" shirts, and central perk and such.

And how the hell are they not getting sued?

I am with you 100% On this M13. I won't lie, when I first started selling novelty tees I was selling all the tv/movie slogan tees you see everywhere because I was uninformed and then I found this site. I honestly thought with the amount of people selling that stuff it had to be fair game. Luckily I figured it out before I was sued by anyone.

I saw a HUGE drop off In sales when I cut those t-shirts out too. This Is why It bothers me so much because I don't feel we are on level playing fields with these types of sellers. It's much harder to come up with funny, witty original designs without refrencing cult tv shows and movies becasue that is currently the trend but at least I can go to sleep at night with a clear conscience.

Me thinks it is better to price everything the same and run sales once a month?
