Default Too many options?

What would be a nice round number when selling t-shirts online before you start confusing or even anoying potential customers?

I'm guessing number of designs? I think the customer tolerance for number of designs is a lot greater than number of colours, garment styles, etc.

In general I'm not a fan of too much choice, but on the other hand companies like T-shirt Hell have made it work for them.

Rather than start out with a huge number of designs, just pick a few and add some more now and then. Then you can get rid of the ones that don't sell.

I'm not a t-shirt freak so much as a designer freak.

I plan on having several classic shirts. Probably about three. Then every 3 or 6 months when I've collected enough money, I'll release the new "season" of shirts. And occasionally, i want to add in limited editions.

This may take from one year to a few years to establish, but you just have to have patience. ^_~

I like designers that keep it fresh. In other words new stuff on a regular basis or peeps forget about you.

tru dat.

Van Ink: Do you have in mind what kind of shirts you're making?

•If you make humor shirts, the more the better!
•If you make artistic designs, keep it simple. Release several at a time, and almost like what Jasonda said, make more of the better selling ones, or just get rid of the ones consumers don't like.
