Default What method of shirt production is this?

It was kind of hard to find what section of the forum this goes in, but since i plan on finding this out for my buisiness, i'll put it in selling.

I have basic knowledge of the main tee shirt printing/pressing methods, but could anyone tell me what would have made shirts like this?

alot of modern apparel companies are making shirts with designs like this and it just seems like the designs are too complex for silk screening or heat transfer.

hey whats up I heard from the sales director of tapout that they are using discharge printing and some laser techniques.. Thats for affliction brand tapout though varies with different printing styles. Sorry couldnt be more helpful Im a noob. Im also looking into making something of that caliber. The quality is unrivaled.

It costs a lot of money and would be pretty hard for a new indie brand to be able to do stuff like that.

I wouldn't focus on advanced stuff like this and would start off with basic prints.

Thanks guys.

I noticed they use dtg, silk screening, dyeing, and vinyl pressing on alot of thier stuff. maybe the tastefull mixing of the techniques coming together on one shirt is part of the appeal.

my mail goal was to try and get distressed looking gray tribal designs and 'noise' onto a black shirt. The only way to do this is going to be silk screening huh?

Most of it's done on a belt printer. That's how you get the all over look. Depending on the amount of colors in the design alot of it's done on flats before garment production.

Silkscreening would be the ideal way, yes. it's the most cost effective and in my opinion the best quality.
