am finding researching apparel co.s 'really' confusing...

i would like to buy from a 'green' friendly label - sweatshop-free, organic, fair-trade, union-ised (blah-di-blah)...

i'm based in the uk... am not sure if there's a label near to reduce costs in some way, but i assume they're mainly in the states...

i know what colours i want (i know some apparel co.s will do custon colours if you order enough) and i want longsleeves and hoodies... and i guess it'd be nice if either they'd put in labels for me of 'my label' or there were none in there at all...

pretty bold colours - so i figure bamboo is out...

i keep scanning through the boards, but going in circles...

American Apparel is sweatshop-free.

I think you're trying to hard to find the "perfect" nice-guy t-shirt company.
You're never gonna find it.

If companies did everything completely organic, sweat-shop free, pay there employees a good wage, provide benefits, donate to charity, etc, etc., they wouldn't be in business.

Have you looked at Continental? They are based in the UK and are very eco-friendly and have tons of certifications.
