I Have A Question What Is The Average Price I Should Pay An Artist That Also Does Graphic Designing For A Drawing That Does Not Have Much Detail Involved In The Drawing? I Feel That I Might Be Paying Too Much For His Services.
I personally received quotes ranging from $15/hr and up. 15/hr is very low and this were usually either ppl who didn't have an extensive portfolio and were just trying to build one up or design students. The average around my area seems to be $30-60/hr. But I also know that designers charge per design fee. So it really depends on a number of factors. Like what school did they graduate from, how much experience do they have etc.
I think you will find a lot of different answers to this question. Ultimately it ends up with what are you willing to pay, and what can you get. Remember, you get what you pay for. If someone will work cheap, they may not be good, they not have experience, they may not work on the design right away, etc. Also some artist may want to retain some kind of right to their art.
