Default Is anyone familiar with chargrilled t-shirts? (UK)

I am currently researching the best possible printing solution for my t-shirt enterprise. Most designs i have been getting good feedback for are in the same style as those at chargrilled - mainly one or two tone text sometimes combined with a simple image.

Can anyone deduce what type or types of printing techniques are used to achieve these results?

Help will be gratefully received.

Cheers!

If you want to print on demand then it would probably be vinyl or dtg. If you wanted to stock x amount of t-shirts then you would probably go for screenprinted. You would need a fair amount of money and space to stock the screened t-shirts as you would need to order about 100 of each design to make it worth doing, however you would only need to make them as they sold if you use vinyl, small set up cost of about £1000 for cutter, vinyl and some t-shirts.

Thanks for your input. I have been contemplating vinyl but wasn't too sure whether I could achieve this type of result with vinyl? Do you know where i can see some examples of what vinyl can achieve?

Oh and im thinking about the Roland G24 - any thoughts?

Hi
Just been to the chargrilled site , looks to me like vinyl could do an awful lot of those., Vinyl is great and really easy for text and vector graphics.
As for the gx-24 -I have had mine for about 4 months and LOVE it , really easy to use ( it's the software for all these things that have the steep learning curve - corel etc...)
excellent build quality, certainly not the cheapest but must be one of the best.

I am pretty sure they are vinyl. They are based local to me and a friend of a frend mentioned he went for an interview at a t shirt company but couldnt remember the name, everything he said lead me to think its chargrilled. He said they had vinyl cutters.
