Default European or Asian tee maufacturers

I'm working with a number of artists and designers to produce a line of t-shirts. I have been looking around the UK and can only find the following brands;

Steadman, Glidan, fruit of the loom, jerzees, fanshirt, Hanes, Continental, Kustom kit

could you help me determine, which is the one to trust for quality, tread count, cut, sizes etc as it seems they all say they're the best or preferred choice. Any tips or pointers most welcome,

many thanks

What kind of line are you looking to produce? For example, FotL or Gildan would be good for slogans, vulgar jokes, etc. Continental would be good if you're doing a more fashion styled label. etc. etc. Best brand depends on what you're doing.

Solmu said it right. What i would also do to check Local Printer & See whats available their. You will get idea about all the different Quality and Brand you are talking about. Mall can work too.

They're good choices for samples. Hopefully one or the other of them will suit you outright, and if not it should at least help a lot in narrowing it down.

What price tags do you handle because in south america we have good prices and better quality than asian counterparts.
