Expectations of vendor/silk screen/printer & quality of product layout evenly spaced crooked
Ok, am I being to anal about my line? I got the shirts back from the printer (I provide the shirts). First when I dropped them off I had concerns about the printing of the verbage on the back of the guys shirts and they just said no it would to much trouble or something like that and shot me down. They printed the backs first and this is there business and would think that when they printed the first men's shirt and saw how small the printing was they should have contacted me. So I was not happy with that. Now I am going through all of them because I started taking pic's for the website and some of them looked the verbage was not evenly printed as far the difference from one end of the sentence to the other from the shoulder seam. It is any where from almost an inch to under an inch. So I am expecting too much, I really want honest opinions and direction. I started working on this line in Oct. 08 and I lost my job April 1st and they new my funds are planned down to the penny. Also I was supposed to pick the shirts up on Friday the 7th, but I called them and told them I would not need them to push and have them done that Friday. They told me that would be great and they only had one more screen to go and then they would print them. Well I tried & tried to get hold of them on Monday, when they finally called back they had taken off work and had not started working on the shirts and they would be ready Thursday. I was a little upset at the delay but said ok. Sorry this was so long............

1" to under an 1" is not a major deal (you have to realize shirts aren't created perfectly at the factor, and also realize that shirts are always human loaded. No matter how perfect printers try to be, it will never be perfect.) That in my opinion is being too nit picky.
However it sounds like you're not getting the services you need, so I would look elsewhere to get shirts printed next time.

Thank you very much! I am new to business and do not know what industry standards are so it is awesome to have this forum and to get answers and opinions from people who know. I don't mind honest answers I respect them. It means a great deal of help to me. This has been a experience starting a business from scratch and doing it all on my own. Thank you and I look forward to anyone else who would care to respond..
