Default General tee shirt brand help

hello, i have been interested in starting a tee shirt brand for a couple years now. i can always think of designs for tee shirts that i can do but im not the best artist in the world, and i dont have the programs to make the things ive done good enough to be printed. one of my problems is i am never able to think of a good name that i want for the brand. i always come up with some but then i cant think of designs designated just for that name. i want a clothing name that has meaning and something that is simple but gets peoples attention. although im only 15 im not afraid of doing the work and everything i have to do to get this job done. is there any advice you guys can give me to help start everything out for me? thanksss =)

If you can get even an older version of CorelDraw or Illustrator, then you could start playing around and making designs. There are plenty of video tutorials on youtube for the programs and lots of online resources too. Good Luck!

If you want to do the designs yourself you can start with the program GIMP at GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a free image editing program that is relatively powerful.

I say, if you aren't that good... leave it up to someone who is. It may be possible to find another kid at your school who is good at design and will do this thing with you. Instead of trying to come up with designs that might be sub-par, you could spend your time doing things you are better at. You may be better at the business side, or the printing side. Save up to get some equipment, or find someone who will do it for cheap. Come up with another way to make shirts that don't require a substantial financial commitment.

As far as a name goes, you can sit around and think of names forever. If you cant find something you are 100% in love with, just pick something. There are a lot of ridiculous names out there. Your clothes are what makes it cool.

It might take a while but look through the dictionary to inspire you, or make your brand name from two/three other names that mean something to you.
