I am always trying to make unique tees myself by dyeing them and/or bleaching, but the outcome is never that great.

I stumbled onto a website breedusa.com that has tees similar to what I am trying to accomplish. How do they do it? Do they bleach them? Here is a direct link. The pics are so-so but you get an idea. bareapparel.com also sells a line that they refer to as tea dyed. What is that?

Your link isn't working.

Tea dyed is just what it sounds like. It's tees soaked in tea. Some use coffee for a similar look.

Thanks I fixed the link. Do they really use tea or coffee?

If so what about dark shirts, they must use some kind of bleaching. I tried tying my shirts in tight knots and bleached them but they never come out right.

I believe kavio sells shirts like the ones I am trying to make. Has anyone dealt with them?

The look is called marbled. For $120 I hope they do a lot more to the shirt than it looks.

Bare Apparel can also do this look for you, I believe.

I have been coffee and tea staining material for about 10 years .. its VERY BIG in the primitive /country crafting business .. 99% of everything they do is coffee or tea stained and it makes teh house smell AWESOME ! and you have to oven bake the material to set it in .. just dont walk away or you'll be greeting the fire dept. at your door really fast .. yes a heat press will work but i dont own one lol ..
