Need to Register?

I've searched the forum but didn't find anything that matches this topic.

I wonder what printing method the professional brands use to put designs on their t-shirts. I mean these kind of prints, that you couldn't tell with closed eyes if it was just a blank t-shirt because it is so thin. You actually don't feel anything. I've already asked 2 printers, but they couldn't tell. Now, I hope you guys can give me a hint.

If you can't feel the print, it could also be dye sublimated .. just a thought.

unless it's a 100% cotton t-shirt (which most of the top fashion brands use). Then it couldn't be dye sub.

water base ink from ryonet (screenprintingsupplies.com) works great. can't feel if ink is on the shirt or not.

I just wanted to clarify because not everyone reading here knows that dye sub must be on polyester/man made materials

The thin printing is normally called "soft hand". If you try a search for "soft hand", you should get a lot of responses.
