My usual business is small runs of custom merchandise using vinyl. I've had an inquiry from a client who wants me to somehow print/apply his logo onto EVA foam mats (martial arts mats - like those in the picture below).
My initial thought was that i'd have to get them screem printed - however he only wants a one off so I'm dubious about the cost involved in getting a screen made up.
Looking online it seems there are companies that offer EVA poducts that have been heat transfer printed. Does anyone know what sort of transfer film/vinyl they use for this? Or am i confused and they are actually sublimation printed?
Also, for a one off large design, instead of setting up a large screen is it possible tu use inks, screen printing or otherwise, to 'paint' on or even stencil on a design?
The main requirements are that it is very durable (people will be walking, jumping, wrestling on these etc!), washable and doesn't just peel or flake off.
Any help anyone has would be really appreciated!(t-shirts etc) using vinyl.
