Default Printing on a Hard Object

This may be a really dumb question, but, what is it called when you want to have something printed on a hard object. For example. If I had a design I wanted to print on a retractable dog leash, what would that be called? If anyone has any suggestions as to where I should look for people who may do that, i'd appreciate it!

I agree with the above, most likely pad printing.

Pad printing is very similar to screen printing except on a smaller scale, the same processes and techniques are used. You could try contacting a local screen printer to see if they know anyone. You may also try and search for a member in the ASI or PPAI, they will either do this type of work, or know the people to outsource it to.

The pad printing is also what you see on ink pens, tape measures. etc...
There are a lot of people doing it oout there that bought the press-a-print system.

Pad printing is almost always the method used to print on a hard surface.
