Re: How to price my t-shirts out for someone who wants wholesale pricing? Normal rule of thumb (not set in stone) is 100% markup: your cost price of $6.50 becomes $13 wholesale becomes $26 retail. With a $15 retail that doesn't leave a lot of room. Still, I'd consider the possibility of sticking with a wholesale price barely below retail ($12 say) and relying on the fact that they can probably sell them for a lot more in Japan.
If you start getting more interest from retailers, seriously consider raising your retail price so you can provide them with actual wholesale prices, and not be undercutting what they'd have to sell for at retail.
