Default recommended inventory

I am going to set up a booth on the fourth at a fireworks celebration. The average attendance for this location is 2000 people. I will be selling 4 different designs on t shirts and numerous vinyl decals. My question is of inventory. How many shirts do you think I should I bring of each design all sizes included. Also how many of each decal. I have 30 different decals right now and about 20 of each of those. Not looking to sell out(would be nice) but also dont want to run out. This is the first time I have ever run a booth so any help will be greatly appreciated.

How many other venders will be doing t-shirts and will your location be in a cetnral location? If you are exclusive, your designs clean and contempory & the location good.

two other vendors doing shirts and I am opposite side of path 3rd in line. Not where I wanted but this is my first year where they have history with this show. I do have one design they will not have as it is mine and the inks are specialized.

Are your shirts already printed or will you be pressing them on site?

If they are already printed I would say bring them all. It is hard to determine which size you will need the most. Even if you do not have them all out at your booth, if you have them in the trunk of your car where you can get to them if you start to run low on a particular size would be better than not having it at all.

When I do events like this, I use plastisol transfers. I print a few up in each size to display on the table. I bring my heat press along so as I start running low on a size, I can print up only the size I need. This way I do not waste a shirt, and you can always use the 4th of July plastisol transfer the following year.

I thought about that but my heat press is an auto and requires a compressor. too heavy for a couple hours show. The shirts I am selling are not fourth of July specific. one of them is patriotic but can be sold any time and the rest are just gothic designs I created. I tend to cater to the take a risk crowd so hopefully they will take a risk on me.
