Post Customs and Shipping

Hey guys, i have another technical question. When shipping out of the country (canada to US) either bulk orders or a single tshirt, is there any sort of required information about the contents i have to shown on the outside of the package to clear customs easily (like the value, business name, tax id...?)

And i remember ordering bulk tshirts from the US to Canada, getting my order from UPS, then a week later getting a tax bill from UPS for $50.00 it was all customs taxs, provincial taxes, some random other cross border type fees... is that a normal thing? how do i make sure that doesnt happen to my customers?
thanks for the helps guys!

Your best bet is to call customs and ask. I believe things under a certain value do not need to be marked as such for taxation, but I am not sure and it also varies by country.

Typically when shipping internationally, you need to include 3 copies of your commercial invoice - however, Canda may be less strict.
