i would wear the same thing u would wear to any interview
Surely a suit would be pretty crazy for a job as a printer, in an environment surrounded by ink? I don't really know what the answer is either, but that does seem like overkill. I'd be concerned it would send the wrong message.
yeah, I was thinking some nice jean or slack and a polo. I also feel like I am so much more informed because of all of the people on this site. If it wasnt for the forum I would still be pulling my hair out...lol

What position are you going for?
I would say NO to jeans. Just wear khakis or black slacks, with a nice button up polo. Clean and professional, but not overkill. Good luck with the interview.
They are considering me for a screen printing position. Not sure what the duties include that is what will be discussed in this next interview. I just hope I get it, I have alot to offer them, but they have more to offer me. Great hours, benefits, pay and well the job itself. It beats flipping burgers and making pizza...which is what I am doing now.

my suggestion... like any interview.. smart casual... too casual looks like you havent made an effort and a suit sometimes gives the wrong impression... ideally id say go in what youre comfy in smart-ish pants, a shirt and maybeone of your own t-shirts underneath the shirt? show them your screen printing skills..
but really.. its all down to personality and your skills. if you are suited for the job and if they think your personality is well suited to their working environment.. sorry to say but what you wear is only part of your first impression... you could specially screen print a t-shirt saying "i am perfect for this job, so hire me already" you never kno
just be yourself.. things happen for a reason, if its meant to be.... etc etc
well...good news..I got the job..I will be screening numbers for the most part. But I got my foot in the door and that is what I wanted. I was honest with them and told them that I want to have my own clothing company that focuses on the application of art via screen print...They were so happy to hear that. They said it showed that I will be passionate and willing to learn every aspect of the company.

If I wanted them to look like a real printer I'd expect black dickies
that look like bad modern art/casino flooring, some sort of tool hanging
out of the pocket, and a church camp misprint t-shirt three sizes too large. Extra
points for a speck of neon green ink on the ear or nose.
