I was wondering if starting out selling shirts on different brand tees is bad? I have jerzees mostly but I also have hanes and another brand..Im not well known yet and I am still trying to learn how to market myself.

Default Re: mix and match

I think it can be okay, but it could cause problems with customers (like they try a shirt, like the shirt, then buy again expecting the same thing and get something different).

Basically I think there are two circumstances under which it's okay: low price point using only very similar shirts (e.g. Gildan 50/50, Hanes 50/50 and FotL 50/50 - not a huge difference between them).

A clothing label using different shirts as appropriate to the design (so one shirt might be a standard AA 2001, then a different design might be on an Alt. App. semi-sheer, etc.)

I think most people would actually caution you against using different brands at all. Personally I'd just say be careful doing it.

If you relabel the shirt, most customers aren't even going to notice.
