I am in Atlanta, and every event that comes to town I set up or rent a booth for selling my items. (Well not every event) I have mostly gear featuring the event and also carry a few items of my own. Works great for me. Depending on the event determines if I will set up for the entire event (Entire Weekend) or just 1 day but the sells are very good at these events. You just have to pick the right ones and have something they want to buy at a very reasonable price.

Puerto Rican parade huh...the next one I am doing is a Panamanian parade. Honestly I stay between $10-$15. That's just me though that's not to say that you can't get that price and in NYC to boot. It all depends on the design and the type of festival. You can always start with $20 then drop the price if you are not getting any sales.
